The Audio Programmer
Role Description
This is a key role for an Engineering Product Manager to join a music software company working on one of the most exciting and popular music production tools on the market. It's a great time to join them as they continue to grow and establish themselves as one of the most innovative software tools for music producers and songwriters.
- Responsible for managing a mixed team of engineers (web, frontend, backend).
- Leading the development of new products and features.
- Strong emphasis on communication between R&D and the wider business.
- Connecting research with real-world product design.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on software engineering background.
- Detailed understanding of music production and audio workflow tools.
- Great track record delivering innovative software to creative users.
- Experience leading engineering and product teams in a quickly growing company is a plus.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on background in audio or music software development.
- Track record delivering commercially successful software tools in a lead role.
- Experience working with C++, JUCE, JavaScript, and Python.
- Detailed understanding of audio processing.
- Successful technical leadership and product management experience.
- Excellent team motivator, manager, and coordinator.
- Able to work, lead, and collaborate remotely.
