Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

We’re hiring an experienced Logistics Shipping/Receiving Associate in Brooklyn, NY! This role supports daily warehouse and logistics operations, including shipping/receiving, forklift operations, inventory management, and vendor coordination. If you have 2+ years of forklift and food manufacturing experience , this is a great temp-to-hire opportunity. Compensation & Schedule : Pay : $27–$33/hr Type : Temp to Hire Location : Brooklyn, NY Schedule : 8AM–5PM Key Responsibilities Load/unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment; receive and process inbound/outbound shipments. Verify deliveries against purchase orders, inspect for damage, and manage inventory, holds, and physical counts. Maintain accurate inventory records, properly store frozen products, and update Fishbowl/ERP systems. Communicate with vendors and carriers regarding shipments, deliveries, and order issues. Maintain an organized and safe warehouse while completing required checklists and supporting Packaging/Production as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of food manufacturing experience 2+ years of forklift and shipping/receiving experience. High school diploma or GED. Experience with warehouse, logistics, and inventory operations.
