Job Description

Northwest Health – La Porte is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Nocturnist to join our Critical Care team.

Details of the position include:

Hospital employed opportunity
100% Inpatient ICU
7-on, 7-off schedule, 7PM to 7AM
Open to experienced candidates & new graduates
Critical Care experience strongly preferred

About the Hospital

Northwest Health La Porte is a 85-bed acute care hospital serving La Porte County and surrounding communities in northern Indiana. Operated by Community Health Systems, the hospital provides comprehensive services, including emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, oncology, surgical services, and maternal health. The hospital is supported by outpatient surgery, physician practices, rehabilitation, sports medicine, occupational health, urgent care, and wellness services and maintains an affiliation with Indiana University Health.

La Porte is the county seat of La Porte County and is located near Lake Michigan in northern Indiana. The community offers a mix of small-town charm and access to regional recreation, employment, and transportation with proximity to Chicago and nearby lakeshore communities.
