We are looking for a highly organized candidate for the position of Front Desk Supervisor. The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resort's front desk and guest services team, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. This role supervises front desk associates, coordinates guest check-in and check-out procedures, handles guest inquiries and concerns, and maintains the highest standards of hospitality and customer service. The Front Desk Supervisor serves as a key point of contact for guests and staff, ensuring efficient operations, accurate reservations management, and seamless communication between departments. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused leader with strong organizational skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury oceanfront resort environment.

As part of the initial first 10 minutes of a guests experience, the Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for making lasting first impressions, starting with the warm welcome/welcome back, owning each interaction and representing the company as if it is their own. In addition to undertaking various procedural and administrative duties, dealing with and diffusing conflict or tension is also a critical skill we are looking for.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcome
• Recognizing repeat, VIP status and/or loyalty
• Administering check-ins and check-outs
• Providing front desk services to guests
• Assigning rooms and taking care of administrative duties
• Delivering mail and messages
• Processing guest payments
• Coordinating with bell service and staff management
• Being a source of information to guests on various matters such as transport and restaurant advice
• Accommodating general and unique requests
• Diffusing conflict or tense situations with guests, handling guest opportunities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous customer service experience
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Time management and organizational skills
• Conflict resolution experience
• Patience and good listening skills
