Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations while supporting accurate financial reporting and process improvement. This hybrid role in Cleveland, OH is ideal for a hands‑on accounting leader who enjoys managing the close process, supporting a team, and partnering across the organization. Responsibilities Oversee general ledger activities and ensure accurate financial records Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules Supervise and support accounting staff, providing guidance and development Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Assist with audits and serve as a liaison with external auditors Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Collaborate with finance, operations, and leadership teams Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior experience as an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong organizational and communication skills CPA preferred but not required What Our Client Offers Hybrid work schedule based in Cleveland, OH Collaborative and supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth and increased responsibility Stable organization with long‑term career potential #J-18808-Ljbffr
