Clinical Documentation Analyst

Lead the implementation and configuration of the EpicCare Clinical Documentation module for clinical departments Conduct workflow analysis using the Epic system and identify process improvements Customize the module to meet clinical and operational requirements Implement and optimize Clinical Case Management, Rover, MyChart Bedside, and Epic Monitor Develop and execute comprehensive test plans Train and support physicians, nurses, and administrative staff using the Epic system Troubleshoot and resolve EpicCare Clinical Documentation issues with IT and clinical teams Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and training materials Collaborate with IT, clinical staff, project managers, Epic representatives, the organization, and end users Communicate weekly with team members about deliverable status, risks, budget, and upcoming milestones Apply Epic implementation best practices and methodologies while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards Requirements Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information technology, or a related field 2–3 years of experience working with Epic systems or a similar EHR platform required High School Diploma with 5 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree Epic certification in clinical documentation modules preferred Familiarity with clinical workflows and documentation processes Epic certification preferred; if not certified, must become Epic certified Must be currently authorized to work in the United States ChristianaCare will not sponsor applicants for an employment visa now or in the future Must be within a commutable distance for frequent on-site work Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in implementing and configuring EpicCare Clinical Documentation modules, optimizing clinical workflows, and training healthcare staff.
