About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Ali R Namazie MD A Medical Group as a Front-end Medical Assistant. This role offers a unique opportunity to support patient care in a fast-paced, high patient volume environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Greet and register patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist with patient intake and update medical records accurately.
• Schedule and manage appointment scheduling and coordinate follow-up visits..
• Handle heavy phone inquiries and provide information regarding services.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office and patient areas.
• Process insurance information and obtains copies of ID, validate patient eligibility.
• Collect copayments, and balances dues, post funds accurately and promptly. 
• Support administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant certification is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
• Professional, office environment presentation
• Hourly salary depends on experience and work-related background
• English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred

Experience :
* Work experience in health care payers, PPO/IPO/HMO, insurances, state and federal programs regulations 
* At least two (2 Yrs) work experience in a similar health care environment
* Cash collection and reconciliation experience
* Electronic medical records experience (Epic/eCW/other)
