Accounting Manager/Controller : Roscoe, IL

We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Controller to oversee financial operations, lead the accounting team, and serve as a key business partner to company leadership. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and accounting staff
• Partner with Human Resources on payroll, employee benefits, and related reporting
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and oversee month-end and year-end close processes
• Complete journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Prepare annual audit schedules, compensation analyses, and other financial reports
• Administer business insurance programs and assist with employee benefit plans, including 401(k) and health insurance
• Manage year-end payroll reporting, including W-2s, 1095s, and other required tax documents
• Ensure timely filing of sales tax, 1099s, state filings, and other regulatory requirements
• Review customer credit applications and establish appropriate credit limits
• Collaborate cross-functionally to reconcile financial activity and improve accounting processes

Skills & Experience :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, required ; CPA or CMA designation preferred
• Experience : 4+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, required . 3+ years of management experience, required .
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles, required .
• Software: ERP/accounting software experience, required . Advanced MS Office and proficiency in MS Excel, required .

Pay: $80,000 - $95,000/year

Type: Full-time, 1st Shift, On-site

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m.
