Maintenance AssociateKing of Prussia, PA | Full-Time, On-siteSummaryThe Maintenance Associate is responsible for fulfilling all maintenance duties assigned for the King of Prussia location of Colonial Electric Supply. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, they will work in conjunction with the Facilities Manager and the Director of Operations to ensure all tasks are performed correctly & within the appropriate time frame.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenanceClean interior of the building, as well as machinery and equipment, and exterior of the buildingComplete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to supervisorComply with all safety and health regulationsKeep inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and equipment, and report needs to supervisorRespond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairsDiagnose and troubleshoot issuesWork with and maintain relationships with contracted vendorsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED with 2+ years of experienceBasic familiarity with the repair & maintenance of small motor machinesThe ability to manage time effectivelyKnowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems (including relevant equipment and tools) is a plusAbility to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and lift or move heavy equipmentAbility to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documentsMay be required to work outside of normal work hoursWho is Colonial Electric?We are Colonial Electric Supply, the #1 supplier of commercial electrical and lighting components in the tri-state area.
