Client Advisor

Responsibilities Meet dealership sales goals. Greets customers and determines make, type, and quality of vehicle desired. Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on demonstration drive. Suggests optional equipment for purchase. Computes and quotes sales price, including tax, trade‑in allowance, and discount. Completes paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, including sales slip or contract. Arranges delivery and registration of the vehicle. Researches availability of models and optional equipment. Engages in business development. Addresses customer concerns. Maintains CSI at or above company standards. Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area. Participates in required training. Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system. Follows Safeguards rules and regulations. Demonstrates company core values. Complies with company policies and procedures. Observes all safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Qualifications Education GED or High School Diploma. Associate, Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral degree (field of study not restricted). Preferred fields: Accounting, Automotive, Business, Human Resources, Information Technology. Work Experience Up to 3 years, 3–5 years, or 5+ years of sales and/or customer service experience. Prior automotive sales experience desirable. Licenses & Certifications Valid driver’s license. Automobile salesperson license (preferred). Computer Skills Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office. Intermediate ability to learn web applications for customer management. Communication Skills Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel. Attendance Regular and predictable attendance required. Scheduled shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Demands Regularly talk or hear; stand, walk, and sit frequently. Heavy standing and frequent movement on the lot. Other Skills Verbal & writing ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Reasoning ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
