Serve as a customer representative and technical expert to lead and manage the construction process by liaising with the United States Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), USSPACECOM Joint directorates, functional components, and service components.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Deliver presentations on program status, accomplishments, problems, and requirements for support, and promotion of program objectives to military officers and civilians in other mission-centric offices of the Command, agencies, and ServicesSupport meetings with executives of other Federal, state, and local agenciesAdvise and assist with facility construction planning and management tasks coordinating internally and across other USSACECOM Directorates and external mission partnersAct as a liaison between USSPACECOM and the Government construction managers (e.g., U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, or others), mission operations entities and internal and external stakeholders to ensure mission requirements are addressed in all phases of facility project design, construction, and mission equipment integrationServes as a trusted senior engineering advisor for all construction projects within the local commandEnsure that urgent matters are highlighted to the staff at the division/chief or designee level promptly.Develop Course of Action briefings for senior leaders during project planningDevelop execution schedule, track against the baseline, and identify execution issuesCoordinate with Resource Manager to meet USSC-driven spend planSupport recurring progress updates to senior leaders and track scope, schedule, and cost changesQUALIFICATIONS:Required Qualifications:12+ years of mid to senior-level experience with subject matter experience in managing highly complex, multi-year $1M to $1B Electrical, Civil or Structural Engineering projects.Familiarity with DoD construction standards and processes and with USACE management structure and MILCON executionActive Top-Secret ClearanceBe a US CitizenMaster's degree or professional registration/license in engineering or architectureBenefits:Health Insurance : Multiple Blue Cross Blue Shield options with flexibility for individual or family coverage.Dental & Vision : Comprehensive plans through The Principal and VSP Vision Care for choice and savings.Paid Time Off & Holidays : Generous PTO accrual based on tenure and 11 paid holidays annually.Leave Programs : Jury duty, military leave (with insurance coverage for up to 30 days), and bereavement leave.Retirement Savings : 401(k) plan with company match-dollar-for-dollar up to 3%, plus $0.50 per dollar for 4-5%, with immediate vesting.Life & Disability Insurance : Company-sponsored life and AD&D coverage (1.5x annual salary), optional voluntary life insurance, and short-term disability at 60% of weekly earnings.Additional Benefits : Educational reimbursement, equal opportunity employment, and a drug-free workplace policy.
