Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments during client intake sessions to evaluate their mental health status and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, considering the unique backgrounds and circumstances of each client.

• Regularly meet with clients via telehealth sessions, providing therapy and support to help them confront and overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and culturally competent approaches to guide treatment for diverse patient populations.

• Maintain accurate electronic health record (EHR) documentation and monitor client progress over time.

• Provide referrals and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, when necessary, to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to improve your skills and knowledge in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will support are individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, addiction-related issues, and eating disorders. Your approach will be tailored to each client's unique circumstances, utilizing empathy and understanding to foster a safe and healing therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.
\n
• A minimum of two years related experience providing mental health counseling.
\n
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proficiency in delivering both individual and group therapy with a focus on cultural responsiveness.

Compensation and Benefits\n
