Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established protocols avidly.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and proper calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Document all processes in detail, mentoring new staff or students and helping to uphold the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) via ASCP or AMT to be obtained within one year of hiring.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
