Job Responsibilities

• Assess individuals across pediatric, adult, and elderly demographics utilizing standardized assessments and keen observational techniques.
• Craft tailored treatment plans that not only meet immediate communication goals but also address long-term cognitive and swallowing challenges.
• Implement individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on various aspects including speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to provide comprehensive care solutions.
• Deliver education for patients and families to empower them in their journey towards recovery beyond the therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and intervention to ensure a continuum of care.
• Document assessments and treatments with meticulous accuracy to comply with relevant guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to keep abreast of the latest advancements within the field.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current state licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
