Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in New York State
• Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Knowledge of PT assessment tools and intervention strategies for school-aged children
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams including educators, parents, and other therapists
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• A passion for helping students thrive, both physically and academically
• Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) school experience is an asset

Position Highlights:

• Deliver PT services for students as part of a respected school program
• Perform individualized assessments, goal development, and implementation of intervention plans
• Consult with teachers and support staff to promote student access and success in educational settings
• Monitor student progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure compliance with IEP goals
• Provide education and resources to families and staff to support each student’s care
• Maintain thorough and timely report documentation
