Key Qualifications:

• Licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in New York State
• Experience delivering physical therapy services in schools or healthcare settings
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and educators
• Familiarity with IEPs and goal-setting for students with diverse needs
• Compassionate approach, with a passion for supporting student achievement

Responsibilities:

• Assess and deliver individualized physical therapy services to students, promoting access to the academic environment
• Develop personalized treatment plans and regularly monitor progress toward goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied health professionals to coordinate interventions and advise on adaptive equipment
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to school and regulatory requirements
• Educate staff and families about activities and resources to enhance student mobility and participation
