Accounting Bookkeeper

Job Description Job Description This Accounting Bookkeeper role is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions, responsible for accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate financial records in alignment with GAAP standards. The position involves reporting directly to the Controller and supporting both internal and external audit activities as needed. The bookkeeper will contribute to financial analysis, monthly close, and quarterly reporting cycles as well as back up payroll as needed. This role offers opportunities for professional growth. This is an in person position Mon-Fri 40 hour week (no remoting / no hybrid). Responsibilities Prepare monthly AIA billing Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable operations Support Controller with internal and external audit activities Support Controller at monthly close and quarterly reporting cycles Provide support in maintaining internal controls Handle necessary admin functions as needed for small office Required Qualifications Proficient in financial reporting and GAAP principles Experienced with accounts payable and receivable Strong understanding of internal controls and financial analysis Demonstrated team leadership and effective communication skills Problem-solving aptitude in financial processes Preferred Qualifications 5+ years experience in accounting Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Experience with Construction Software Experience with Textura (a plus) Job Cost background (a plus) Notary (a plus) Company Description HVAC Contractor Company Description HVAC Contractor #J-18808-Ljbffr
