What You'll Do:

• Provide on-site inpatient medical consults for adult patients in a 20-bed inpatient psych unit (medical issues only, excluding behavioral health)
• Manage common medical conditions such as sore throats, rashes, diabetic management, and medication consultations
• Conduct inpatient rounds and support emergency department coverage as needed
• Collaborate with social workers, nurses, and mid-level providers
• Ensure timely patient assessments and documentation
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures

What You Need:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Massachusetts
• Strong clinical skills in adult medical management
• Ability to work full-time, on-site during scheduled hours
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with inpatient care preferred but not required

About the Assignment:

This position is with a leading facility in Natick, MA, providing inpatient medical treatment in a psychiatric setting. The NP will treat medical issues such as infections, skin conditions, and chronic disease management, supporting the hospital's inpatient services. There is a 90-day credentialing process with medical staff.
