Continuous Improvement – Production (or Production Engineer) $100-140k Atlanta, GA This role will focus on driving production operational excellence in a chemical manufacturing environment. This role will be a pathway to Production Engineer or Plant Manager promotion. Must show efficiency through the implementation of lean and six sigma methodologies, strategic planning, root cause analysis, and optimizing operational systems. Responsibilities Lead Total Process Improvement programs for production efficiency and process mapping for operational efficiency. Act as project manager in implementing lean and six sigma practices, including advanced concepts like kaizen and value stream mapping. Perform comprehensive reviews of departmental productivity and operational performance, identifying root causes of inefficiencies and providing actionable recommendations. Support supply chain and quality improvement efforts to ensure operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required. Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications required. Proven experience in lean methodologies, operational excellence, cost reduction, and quality improvement. Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct in-depth data analysis and workflow evaluations.
