Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while still having a significant impact on the lives of elderly clients. Our telehealth facility utilizes advanced technology to ensure seamless communication and effective counseling sessions. With flexible work arrangements, you can achieve a healthy work-life balance while maintaining a standard work schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly residents, identifying specific emotional and psychological needs to tailor treatment plans.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on issues such as grief, depression, anxiety, and adjustments to aging.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to design and implement comprehensive care plans, ensuring coordinated and effective treatment strategies.

• Educate family members and healthcare staff on mental health challenges faced by seniors, as well as strategies to enhance emotional well-being.

• Facilitate cognitive stimulation programs and mental health interventions to promote mental acuity in aging individuals.

• Offer grief counseling to both residents and their families, supporting them during challenging end-of-life transitions.

• Regularly review and update treatment plans based on client progress and ongoing assessments.

• Maintain documentation and compliance with ethical and legal standards in geriatric mental health practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary range for this position is USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, you will have the opportunity to receive a sign-on bonus as part of your compensation package.
