Laboratory Analyst II (Metals/ICP) - Eurofins Environment Testing Northeast - North Kingstown, RI
$26 - $32 per hourEurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Environmental laboratory analyst position performing sample preparation and analysis using ICP-MS/ICP-OES and related instrumentation. Responsibilities include metals analysis, data validation, LIMS entry, and instrument calibration in compliance with EPA and quality assurance standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform metals analysis and sample preparation using ICP-MS, ICP-OES, and related laboratory equipment
- Prepare reagents, standards, and aliquots; determine appropriate analytical methods for samples
- Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments; document procedures in logbooks
- Conduct Level I data reviews for accuracy; upload results into LIMS system for client delivery
- Maintain laboratory housekeeping, inventory supplies, and assist with analyst training as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, or 3+ years laboratory experience
- Minimum 2 years hands-on ICP-MS and ICP-OES experience with EPA methods
- 2+ years environmental or analytical laboratory experience with metals preparation and analysis
- Knowledge of TNI/NELAC quality control requirements and sample digestion protocols
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English; strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow written or verbal instructions
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Compensation: $26-32/hr
