Provides direction and collaborates with hospital leadership during significant events, including organizational codes and system downtimes. Fosters exceptional patient experiences through compassionate communication and effective relationships with patients, visitors, staff, and leadership. + Facilitates communication between departments, physicians, administration, families, patients, and staff, keeping campus leaders informed of significant situations. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + Broad knowledge of the healthcare environment [Required] + Effective communication skills and relationship building skills [Required] + Leadership, critical thinking and clinical practice knowledge [Required] + Effectiveness and efficiency in meeting administrative responsibilities, fiscal responsibility and professionalism [Required] **Education:** + Associate's of Nursing [Required] + Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred] + Master's of Nursing [Preferred] **Work Experience:** + 2+ years leadership experience as an assistant nurse manager and/or nurse manager or equivalent (i.e. charge nurse, chair nursing practice council, cn3, cn4) [Preferred] + 2+ years staff nurse experience [Required] **Additional Information:** + Completion of courses in leadership, management and/or legal and organizational leadership **Licenses and Certifications:** + Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] + Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] **Physical Requirements:** _(Please click the link below to view work requirements)_ Physical Requirements - **Pay Range:** $33.99 - $63.22 **Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)** Certain positions are subject to **Florida Level 2 background screening** , including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
