This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical projects that protect and serve our nation’s defense.As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting, guiding, integrating, and supporting the onboarding of applications into program environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system integration with understanding of software architecture and web application development.As the OSSE Architect Lead you will:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and operations, to ensure successful development, installation, hardening and improvement of the system frameworksDevelop and maintain the overall framework architecture for the Ground system, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectivesDevelop and maintain the framework technical roadmap, diagrams, and documents to guide the framework teamEnsure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and security requirements Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize integration requirementsDevelop and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate decisionsProvide technical guidance and oversight to the teamsIdentify and mitigate technical risks and issuesContinuously progress the technical solution for improvements in automation, decrease installation time and drive out cyber findingsEffectively manage the subcontractor work to include clear statement of work with product expectations and requirements flow down.Basic QualificationsExperience in cloud-based, modern web frameworks with a focus on system integrationExperience in infrastructure and middlewareStrong knowledge of software architecture patterns, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and service-oriented architectureExperience with API design and development, including RESTful APIsStrong understanding of data modeling and database designExperience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), particularly in secure, high-performance applications.Final secret clearanceDesired SkillsStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutionsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsExperience in management of subcontract team members contributing to technical solutionsBachelor’s and/or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.Familiarity with military SATCOM systems and secure communication protocols.Familiarity with DevSecOps process, tools and frameworks.Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirementsExperience with DevOps practices and toolsFamiliarity with container security and vulnerability managementExperience with technical writing and documentationProficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, including experience with test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD).Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practicePay InformationGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States.
