Business Engagement & Technology, Associate Director - Clinical & Early Development

Associate Director role serving as strategic partner between business and Digital Technology Engineering, translating clinical and early development priorities into scalable systems, processes, and digital solutions. Requires 10+ years in business engagement, IT partnering, or product management within life sciences, with expertise in clinical development workflows and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary business engagement lead for Clinical Development and Early Development functions
- Partner with business leaders to identify priorities, challenges, and digital capability needs
- Shape demand intake, prioritization, and roadmap planning across supported business functions
- Collaborate with product, engineering, data, quality, and compliance teams to deliver aligned solutions
- Drive stakeholder alignment, change management, adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; Master's degree or MBA in life sciences, business, or related field preferred
- 10+ years in business engagement, IT/DTE business partnering, product management, or similar roles
- Experience supporting Clinical Development and Early Development functions in pharma or biotech
- Proficiency with modeling tools such as Metworx, Certara Phoenix, or PK/PD environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable systems and workflows
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills in matrixed, regulated environments with compliance focus
- Experience designing AI business use cases to optimize operations and reduce timelines
Compensation: $164,400 - $246,600 base
