Overview
Registered Nurse – Oncology (Travel) in a hospital setting located in Cumming, Georgia. This travel assignment starts on 09/14/2026 and runs for 16 weeks. You’ll earn between $1,627 and $1,665 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The shift is 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week (12x3). Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for oncology inpatients and monitor patient status, including vital signs, labs, and symptom trends
- Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders, managing side effects and ensuring safety
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans; coordinate discharge planning and patient education
- Monitor for oncology-specific complications, provide symptom relief, and respond to clinical changes promptly
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record; ensure clear handoffs during shift changes
- Adhere to infection control protocols, medication safety standards, and hospital policies to maintain high-quality care

Requirements
- Active Georgia RN license (or eligibility as applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of recent oncology/medical-surgical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA); NIHSS certification
- Ability to work in an inpatient oncology/med-surg unit with 12-hour day shifts
- Availability to meet holiday scheduling expectations as required
