Overview
Registered Nurse - Oncology (Travel) position in Cumming, Georgia, starting 09/14/2026 for a 16-week assignment. Weekly pay range: 1,621 to 1,682 USD per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 12x3 pattern. Work setting is an inpatient care environment focusing on oncology with step-down/intermediate care responsibilities. This is a travel - temporary assignment with a candidate location restriction (no local candidates within 50 miles).

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult oncology patients in a step-down/intermediate care environment
- Monitor patient status, perform assessments, document findings, and respond to changes in condition; escalate as needed
- Administer medications and IV therapies per orders; manage IV lines and infusion equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and the interprofessional team to develop and revise care plans; coordinate discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, symptom management, and safety
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record; adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in step-down or intermediate care (oncology experience preferred)
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certification
- Active RN license in Georgia
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Willingness to travel for a travel assignment; no local candidates within 50 miles
