In this pivotal role within campus operations and administration, you will act as a key liaison, facilitating reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. You will guide scholars, faculty, and staff through interactive accommodation processes, evaluate medical documentation, and help maintain an inclusive, accessible educational and work environment. Responsibilities

• Interactive Accommodation Process: Conduct structured interactive dialogues with students, employees, and campus stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and implement reasonable workplace and academic accommodations.

• Case Management & Evaluation: Review medical, psychological, and psychoeducational documentation to determine eligibility under ADA guidelines, maintaining confidential records in compliance with FERPA and HIPAA standards.

• Consultation & Compliance: Serve as a subject matter expert on ADA, ADAAA, and Section 504 regulations, providing guidance to administrative departments, academic units, and facility management.

• Assistive Technology & Resources: Coordinate alternative format materials, assistive software, physical facility access modifications, and proctored testing accommodations across campus.

• Training & Outreach: Facilitate educational workshops and training sessions for faculty and staff to promote inclusive design, universal access awareness, and campus-wide accessibility standards.

• Dispute Resolution: Mitigate and resolve complex accommodation disputes, investigating access barriers or grievances in coordination with University HR and legal counsel.
