Job Summary & Responsibilities Role Overview The Payroll Analyst 2 will manage and execute end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payment for employees. This role requires strong technical payroll knowledge, attention to detail, and partnership with HR, Accounting, and Tax. Key Responsibilities Payroll Processing & Compliance- Process bi-weekly/semimonthly payroll, including salaries, bonuses, and equity-related payments.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Review payroll reports, deductions, and tax withholdings for accuracy.
- Prepare payroll journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support accruals for payroll, bonuses, and benefits.
- Coordinate payroll-related audit and SOX support.
- Partner with HR and Stock Administration on equity compensation payroll impacts.
- Support payroll aspects of benefits, garnishments, and leaves.
- Identify opportunities to automate or streamline payroll processes.
- Assist with system upgrades, implementations, or vendor changes.
- Serve as a point of contact for HR, Finance, and employees on payroll matters.
- Support year-end activities including W-2s and audits.
- 4-6+ years of payroll processing experience in a complex organization.
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax and wage/hour regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail.
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional).
- Experience with equity compensation payroll.
- Experience in a SOX-compliant environment.
- Payroll system experience (ADP).
$77,840.00 - $116,760.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
