Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors through outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.32 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thu: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, badge and/or credential checks, and support for restricted-area protocols as directed by site procedures. Support hospital operations by communicating with staff and/or first responders during medical, behavioral, and facility-related events while following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines. Minimum Requirements: Hospital vaccines are required. The ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required. CPR certification is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
