Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Hospital Care Patrol in Milton, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. This role offers the chance to work in a caring, fast-paced environment where teamwork, reliability, integrity, and innovation come first every day.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to de-escalate tense interactions and notify appropriate personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies, offering directions and assistance to visitors, patients, and staff as appropriate.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or policy-related concerns in clear reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, staff, and/or emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Hospital vaccines are required.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
