As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Associate in Allston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response actions appropriate for a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the lobby, offices, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas while verifying credentials, directing authorized individuals, and reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior.
• Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas through visible armed presence, attention to procedural compliance, and timely reporting of security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
