As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled entry into restricted or sensitive areas.
• Maintain a visible armed presence and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns that could affect daily operations or security-related conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
