As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Role in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution location as an armed, driving Patrol Officer. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and/or exit activity in accordance with site protocols for a financial services environment.
• Support cash handling, high-value asset areas, and other sensitive locations through visible presence, adherence to post orders, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• Candidates must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or at least 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
