Security Officer Corporate Patrol

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Corporate Site in Boston, MA. Job Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour, including paid orientation and paid training. What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, or telecommunications location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry and reporting suspicious behavior or policy concerns. Assist with incident reporting, daily activity logs, and other assigned security‑related duties, while maintaining professionalism and strong awareness in a fast‑paced business environment. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
