What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an armed post at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials as required, and support site policies related to visitor entry, employee access, and/or restricted locations.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while following post orders, reporting procedures, and applicable use-of-force guidelines, and complete required activity logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
