Locum - Physician - Neonatology Southfield, MI

Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital is seeking 2-3 neonatologists for in-house coverage in a Level 3 NICU. This assignment is due to the resignation of an existing neonatologist and involves coverage during various dates in May and June, with ongoing needs. The shifts are from 7 pm to 7 am, including in-house call, with the requirement to attend C-sections and transfer neonates as needed. Clinic documentation is managed via Cerner, Ecare, and PowerChart. Must be BC or truly BE in Neonatology with fellowship training required, and hold current BLS and NRP certifications.

Schedule: 7 pm to 7 am, in-house call

Number of Shifts: Multiple scheduled shifts in May and June, plus ongoing coverage

Total Patients Per Day: 0 to 4 admissions, averaging 12 patients daily

Average Admissions Per Day: 0-4

Required Certifications: BLS, NRP

Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days (urgent need, temporary providers approved)

License: Must be in hand (no licensing assistance provided)

Board Certification: BC or truly BE in Neonatology

Fellowship: Neonatology fellowship required

Rate of Pay: $273.00 per hour
