Facility:
This healthcare facility features a Level 3 NICU with 15 beds and serves as a major referral center for high-risk neonatal care in the region. The facility maintains a strong team of neonatologists including full-time, part-time, and contingent providers, ensuring comprehensive coverage and collaborative patient care. The hospital holds a Level 3 trauma designation and utilizes advanced EMR systems for optimal patient documentation and care coordination.

Opportunity:
Physician - Neonatology

Job Details:
• Provide in-house neonatal coverage for Level 3 NICU with 15 beds
• Work 7 pm to 7 am in-house call shifts
• Manage average of 12 patients per day with 0-4 admissions daily
• Required to attend C-sections as needed
• Responsible for transferring neonates when necessary
• Level I (Well-Baby) nursery coverage not required
• Must be Board Certified in Neonatology with fellowship training required
• Current Michigan medical license required - no licensing assistance provided
• Must maintain BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
• Recent Level 3 or 4 NICU experience required (within last 6 months)
• Clean background check required
• Documentation using Cerner/Ecare/Power chart EMR systems
• Multiple shifts available for May and June with ongoing coverage needs
• Temporary privileges approved for urgent coverage needs
• Standard credentialing timeframe 90-120 days
• Mileage reimbursement provided for local providers

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
