Description:
We are seeking providers for in-house coverage in a Level 3 NICU.
The coverage is needed due to the resignation of an existing neonatologist.
Coverage dates include various dates in June, July, and August.
The schedule consists of 7 pm to 7 am shifts with in-house call responsibilities.
The average number of admissions per day is between 0 to 4.
The locum tenens physician is required to attend C-sections.
The physician will not cover the Level I (Well-Baby) nursery.
The locum physician may need to transfer neonates as appropriate.
The documentation system used is Cerner/Ecare/Power Chart.
Candidates must have experience working in a Level 3 or 4 NICU within the last six months.
Credentialing timeframe is estimated to be 90-120 days.
Mileage reimbursement may be provided as applicable.
