Required Skills:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
• Fellowship training in Neonatology required
• Valid medical license in Michigan (or eligible to obtain)
• Current BLS, NRP certifications
• Proven experience with Level 3 NICU care
• Ability to attend C-sections and transfer neonates when necessary
• Proficiency with Cerner, Ecare, or PowerChart electronic medical records

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous locum or temporary coverage experience
• Familiarity with high-acuity neonatal environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of Neonatology fellowship
• At least 2 years of NICU experience in a Level 3 environment

Other Requirements:

• Coverage scheduled from 7 pm to 7 am, in-house call
• Must have current Michigan licensure in hand; no licensing assistance provided
• Able to commit to scheduled shifts in May and June, with ongoing availability
• This position qualifies for mileage reimbursement and other applicable travel or licensure expenses
