Assembler
Location- Orlando, Florida

This program requires US Citizenship

Sub assembly work - Build and wire assemblies including power distribution load boxes, control/communication panels, joysticks, and mechanical sub assemblies; read blueprints, schematics, and BOMs.
Component installation - Install LEDs, push buttons, switches, handles, fasteners; route, dress, strip, and crimp wires; perform workmanship and functional inspections; document results in MRP work orders.
Mechanical assembly - Join chassis, optical modules, cooling fans, and frames using threaded fasteners, rivets, adhesives, and torque controlled tools.
Electrical integration - Install wiring harnesses, connectors, power distribution boards, SSR modules; route cables per EMC guidelines.
Required experience - 2-4 years electromechanical assembly (aerospace/defense/industrial/automotive); proficient in crimping, soldering, torque tools, and basic CI methods (6S/Kaizen); HS diploma required, IPC 610/OSHA 10 preferred.
Desired skills - 2+ years electromechanical assembly in aerospace/defense/high end optics; experience identifying waste, improving cycle time, and supporting Kaizen activities.
Preferred certifications - WHMA A 620 training or certification (Class 3 workmanship) and current J STD 001.

Position Details:

Pay Rate / Range:$20-$24/hr

The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position's responsibilities; the candidate's experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
