CT TECHNOLOGIST

Short Description Perform CAT scan procedures following protocols established by the radiologist and operate the CT scanner during IR procedures. Maintain the work area, report maintenance issues for equipment, monitor supplies, and report deficiencies. Participate in clinical activities and adhere to all infection prevention policies, using appropriate PPE. Experience Required General, Trauma and ED Education Requirements Graduate of an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technologist Program. Experience with Pediatrics and Cardiac preferred but not necessary. Enrollment in or graduation from a qualified Computed Tomography program preferred. License & Certification Requirements Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support). Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). Current NJ‑RADTECH License (Radiologic Technologist). ARRT Board Certified in Computed Tomography preferred; if not, within 12 months of employment. Benefits Competitive compensation programs.
