Job Details The SCI PT Supervisor manages the physical therapy team for the spinal cord injury program. Responsibilities include: Participating in hiring decisions, staff development, and performance reviews. Managing day-to-day operations and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members for program development. Participating in the Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency program. Providing patient care commensurate with operational needs of the unit/service line. Serving as a mentor and supervisor for staff at all levels. Collaborating with the Therapy Manager for staff development and disciplinary processes. Conducting interview processes for PTs and program positions. Orienting and onboarding new staff. Preparing performance appraisals for therapists, assistants, and aides. Ensuring compliance with accreditation and certification standards, and implementing quality assurance and program evaluation systems. Supporting implementation and coordination of projects and process improvement initiatives for the Spinal Cord Program. Attending conferences and maintaining the department's knowledge of changes and updates. Developing and implementing best practices for SCI rehabilitation. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program. Minimum 6 years of clinical experience with supervisory experience required. Valid state license in Physical Therapy. Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification via American Heart Association.
