It involves defining, refining, and prioritizing user stories while maintaining the technical integrity of features for one or two Agile teams. The role serves as the primary liaison between development teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements and support sprint execution. Success is measured by the quality and readiness of user stories, sprint velocity, and effective coordination of dependencies. The work directly impacts the delivery of product features and the overall productivity of Agile teams within the organization.Job Responsibilities:Build and prioritize the Agile team backlog to maintain two iterations worth of ready user stories and related work itemsCollaborate with Agile teams and stakeholders to write user stories with clear acceptance criteria and tests for up to two teamsReview and accept completed user stories each sprint, ensuring they meet acceptance criteria and quality standardsCoordinate user story and technical dependencies with other Product Owners during iterations and program incrementsAlso responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as neededEducation and Work Experience:Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)4+ years of relevant Product Management, Product Owner, Business Analyst, and System Analyst or Architecture/Software Engineer experience in an agilesoftware product development environment.(Required)2 years experience in delivering software with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools.(Required)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Agile Methodology (Required)Backlog Management (Required)Business Acumen (Required)JIRA Tool (Required)Product Management (Required)Scrum (Required)Stakeholder Management (Required)Strategic Thinking (Required)User Acceptance Testing (UAT) (Required)User Story (Required)Licenses and Certifications:Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO) preferred. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
