Gathering detailed patient histories and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. Operating ophthalmic equipment and instruments, such as retinoscopes, tonometers, and slit lamps, to assist in patient examinations and procedures. Educating patients about their eye conditions and providing clear and concise instructions for eye care at home. Assisting in minor surgical procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of the patient at all times. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a high standard of patient care. Keeping up to date with the latest developments in ophthalmology and participating in ongoing professional development activities.
