Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cardiac and vascular surgery post-operative patients including CABG, TAVRs, and heart transplants.
• Manage patients undergoing procedures such as femoral bypass, angiograms, and amputations.
• Titrate drips including Heparin, amiodarone, and Cardizem to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Unit Charge Nurse and House Supervisors to ensure quality care 24/7.
• Interpret telemetry strips in collaboration with cardiac monitor technicians (CMTs).
• Engage in a rotating schedule including every other weekend with available overtime.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of West Virginia.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years of cardiac/vascular nursing experience.
• Proficiency with EPIC charting systems.
• Ability to float between sister units in Heart and Vascular Institute.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a complex care setting.
