Work Environment

This position is situated in our state-of-the-art outpatient office facility, where we emphasize a positive and collaborative culture among healthcare providers. Our clinic is designed to create a welcoming and healing atmosphere for patients while utilizing modern equipment and technologies. The typical work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care by conducting thorough assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
• Manage a caseload of 1 to 2 patients per hour, ensuring comprehensive care and effective communication at every stage of the rehabilitation process.
• Utilize advanced physical therapy techniques to support recovery, improve mobility, and enhance functional outcomes while documenting treatment progress accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers including physicians, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise regimens, rehabilitation processes, and home care strategies to promote independent recovery and ongoing wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse population, including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, individuals recovering from surgery, and patients managing chronic pain. Your expertise will significantly impact patients' rehabilitation journeys, enabling them to regain strength, mobility, and a sense of normalcy in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively build rapport with patients, their families, and colleagues in a collaborative environment.
• Demonstrated adaptability in treatment approaches, as each patient presents unique needs and challenges.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
