Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems according to scheduled maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment issues.
• Respond quickly to production equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment including conveyors, saws, sewing equipment, foam equipment, woodworking machinery, assembly equipment, and other production machinery.
• Inspect equipment and identify potential problems before failures occur.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and preventative maintenance documentation.
• Perform facility maintenance including lighting, plumbing, compressed air systems, HVAC, and building repairs as needed.
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and plant improvement projects.
• Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO), machine guarding requirements, and safe work practices.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, operators, and production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and maintenance shops.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
• Ability to read measuring devices including tape measures and calipers
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
