Job Responsibilities Lead all financial planning and analysis activities, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range financial planning. Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. Prepare and present financial statements, variance analyses, and key performance metrics to executive leadership and ownership. Partner with department heads to develop and monitor budgets, providing insights and recommendations to optimize spend and profitability. Manage and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial controls; coordinate with external auditors during annual audits. Lead cash flow management, monitoring accounts receivable, accounts payable, and working capital optimization. Support strategic initiatives including pricing analysis, customer profitability analysis, and M&A due diligence as needed. Drive adoption and optimization of financial systems and reporting tools to improve efficiency and data visibility. Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets. Job Requirements Required Skills: 7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a director or senior leadership role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Proven experience managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in a mid-to-large organization. Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools; experience with distribution ERP platforms strongly preferred. Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data visualization. Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights for executive audiences. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required. Preferred Skills: CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred. Experience in medical distribution, healthcare, or a similar regulated industry. Familiarity with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) or similar distribution ERP systems. Experience supporting executive leadership and board‑level financial reporting. MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Business.
