Pediatric Speech Therapist (1099)

Location: Yonkers, NY In order to be considered for this position, you must have a valid and active license in the state of NY. This is a fee‑for‑service, paid per visit, 1099, contracted position. Pay: $100.00 per visit Job Overview As a Speech Therapist with Personal Touch Home Care, you will evaluate and treat individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders, providing rehabilitative services to patients who are unable to travel to a clinic or hospital. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Provide therapy to individuals of all ages, addressing issues such as articulation, fluency, voice, and language. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and home exercises. Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech therapy. Qualifications Must have graduated from an accredited Speech Therapist college or university. Must have a valid professional license and registration for the state of practice. Experience with long‑term care and/or geriatric care is preferred. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills. Prefer two (2) years of appropriate experience as an occupational therapist. Home health experience is preferred.
