Medical Assistant Paid Training Program
The Medical Assistant (MA) training program (Medical Assistant-Registered to Medical Assistant-Certified) is structured to include the following components:
• Clinical Practice : The MA is required to complete 720 hours of clinical practice under the supervision of an MA Preceptor.
• Coursework : There are 180 hours of coursework in partnership with Stepful that must be completed virtually on your own time. This coursework is unpaid.
• Internal Skills Labs : The MA must participate in internal skills labs, which are essential for hands-on practice and skill development.
• Additional MA Training Activities : Participation in all other required MA training activities is mandatory.
* Upon successful completion of program requirements and passing the MA certification (MA-C) exam, we welcome our new Medical Assistants to apply to open positions at PacMed.

Required Qualifications:
Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
